National Parks Service “Nomad” Camping App
I completed this project in 2021 on a team of four designers. We had ten weeks to define the case framework of the application and design a robust mobile app. The design process included creating detailed user journeys, task flows, both low and high fidelity prototypes, and three separate rounds of user testing. The National Parks Service (NPS) Nomad app is a publicly-owned vacation reservation app that provides all campsite, canvas tent cabins, and rustic cabin reservations within the 63 National Parks. 3 Using NPS Nomad, families and friend groups can reserve accommodations and plan trips to National Parks collaboratively.
