Rondo Recreation in the St. Croix River Valley, 1909-1977

To further uncover the St. Croix River Valley's rich and nuanced Black history, filmmaker and Rondo descendant Cherrelle Swain and I wrote partner articles for the Ramsey County Historical Society's summer 2024 Ramsey County History publication. Our articles outline the rich connection between the river valley and the Rondo neighborhood’s social and civic clubs.

A celebration and public forum celebrating historic preservation and the recent revitalization of historic buildings in downtown St. Croix Falls.

The State Street Arts Initiative

Conducted a study and designed a multi-year initiative to procure more public art for the City of St. Croix Falls.

Out of the Annex Exhibition

A collaborative exhibition of local artifacts between WHAT. Art Gallery and the St. Croix Falls Historical Society in 2023.

Northern Exposure Column

Northern Exposure is a featured monthly column in the Inter-County Leader newspaper, a subsidiary of the Inter-County Cooperative Publishing Association, serving Northwest Wisconsin since 1933. The column celebrates the cultural intersection of local history and the arts through research, oral history collection, and storytelling.
